JQ Piping was created to provide expert bagpipe tuition to the public for all levels. Whether you are just interested in learning the Great Highland Bagpipe or are a current player looking to improve your performance and competition skills.

To accompany your tuition, JQ Piping is also a proud agent for Strathmore Bagpipes by Murray Henderson. The Strathmore brand of bagpipe is a proven product winning many of the major competitions in Scotland and beyond. Strathmore bagpipes produce a rich, full sound and give the player the stability needed to compete at the highest levels. The elegant lines and master engraving create an instrument pleasing to the eye that will stand the test of time.

Along with the drones, the Strathmore pipe chanter is a well established leader in the competitive solo piping scene. Used by many professional level players, the Strathmore chanter produces a sweet sound through the entire register and is excellent for both light music and piobaireachd. The comfort of the chanter under the fingers is an added bonus and creates a product that is favoured by men and women both adults and children. A rare feature in modern chanters.

JQ Piping will also aid you with your bagpipe setup. Products are not simply bought 'off the shelf', but are sold with the customers individual needs in mind. All instruments are personally tested by Murray Henderson before shipping and double checked by Jonathan Quay before delivery to the customer. Email and phone communication is also an important element when making purchases and JQ Piping will endeavour to constantly communicate with the customer to ensure total satisfaction.

Choosing JQ Piping means you will receive expert tuition, an instrument that has been proven at the highest levels, and support to help you get the best out of your instrument and your playing.

Thank you for choosing JQ Piping.
